Do you want to play an instrument in a concertband ?

Odense Postorkester is a concertband with 35 amateur musicians at all ages.

We are known by the red uniform of the National Danish Post. You don´t have to be an emplyee at Postnord (as the former Danish Post is called today) to play with us. Everyone, who play an instrument that matches a concertband, can join us.

We have a versatile repertoire, and ranges from evergreens, musicals, marches, classsical pieces to musik written for concert bands and wind orchestras.

We have concerts during the year at many different events. Once a year we have our charity concert with different artists in favor of Julemærkehjemmene.

We love to play music, and at the same time, we love to have fun. We try to arrange different events outside the orchestra, such as bowling, evenings out eating etc. 

The rehearsels and instructions are mainly given in Danish, but that is no reason not to join our concert band. Most of the musicians speak English and are happy to help with translateing.

Our rehearsels take place every tuesday from 19.00 - 21.30 pm in Odense, near by Syddansk Universitet and Rosengårdcenteret.

It costs 200 kr. per month to play in the orchestra. We have a 3 month trial period to see, if you and the orchestra is a perfect match.
